In 2012 the Republican party had to find a new candidate to run for president in the United States. The backbone of these campaigns are the volunteers, people who would do whatever it takes to get their candidate elected in these pre-elections. Ordinary people full of passion who commit to that goal. People who would stand for hours on the street waiving signs, who would sit in a small meeting room making phone calls, hoping they can convince others to vote for their candidate. These photographs are taken in the Southern states, a journey though Phoenix that proceeded on to Oklahoma, Mississippi, Louisiana and ended in Dallas, Texas.
